Please come join us for our third annual Thanksgiving Dinner Community Outreach. Thanksgiving is a time for family and friends to gather and to celebrate God’s bountiful blessings to us with a wonderful, home cooked meal with many favorite and traditional dishes. For many of us, this year is tougher than most for a variety of reasons. This Thanksgiving our church is reaching out to those who have nowhere to go or do not have the financial ability for the holiday, by inviting them here for Thanksgiving dinner. We have many resources in place to provide dinner for many, including hands to cook and serve, but we could use additional help in a couple of areas, whether you are here or not. The biggest need is for people to provide transportation. This would include bringing folks here for dinner and then getting them back home. Even if you volunteer to bring folks one way would be very helpful. Please consider signing up and lending a ride to our guests.
Another opportunity to help would be to donate a dessert or pie! Thanksgiving Dinner this year will start at 1:00p.m. We have so much to be thankful for and are looking forward to sharing this day with you!
