church life: IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO JOIN US FOR ALPHA ! Wednesdays 7-9 p.m.
Posted by: cshepherd on Mar 31, 2013 - 04:27 PM
Christian Life
“What is the meaning of life?” If you are one of the many people who are asking this same question, First Congregational Church in Hanson invites you to attend the Alpha Course on Wednesday nights, at 7pm. Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly setting. People of different backgrounds, religions, and viewpoints come together to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions. Some people want to investigate if God exists or if there is any point to life, others may have attended church on and off their whole life but never understood the basics of the Christian faith. The objective is the same: Is Jesus Christ relevant for my life? Come explore. Everyone is welcome.

  New Member Classes
Posted by: bcraig on Feb 10, 2008 - 01:02 AM
Christian Life
If you are feeling God's nudge for you to go a little deeper in your faith and commitment to our Lord, maybe membership in our church is that nudge. We will have New Member classes later this summer, so please prayerfully consider where you are at in your walk and check it out. You are not required to join when you come to these classes, so this is also a great way to learn more about the church and the Congregational Faith. Please speak with Pastor Cindy if you are interested in being a part of this class.
