WELCOME TO THE FIRST CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH IN HANSON !

Our church has a welcoming atmosphere where you can
feel at home for the first time or for a lifetime.
On Sunday mornings we offer two worship experiences:
- A Traditional Service at 9:00 a.m. which features hymns, a Biblically
based message and special music from our wonderful organist and Senior choir. This service celebrates the traditional pilgrim worship that brought us here. Nursery is available.
- Our 11:00 a.m. Worship Service is for individuals and young families
who desire a less formal atmosphere - It features a full band, lively worship, dramas and a
Biblically based message which connects with our daily lives. During the school year, all Sunday School classes attend the first 15-20 minutes of this service for cool praise and worship songs and a brief message before heading off to class.
Nursery is also available.
- Following the 9:00 a.m. service, there will be a full hour of coffee and fellowship. All are encouraged to come early or stay later to cross paths with brothers and sisters in the church family. Coffee and fellowship will also follow the 11:00 a.m. service.
This Sunday, February 12, 2012, the scripture lesson is taken from 1 Corinthians 13:1-7 & 13 . The message to be shared is entitled, "Making a Love Connection". Please join us at one of these wonderful worship services.
Following each worship service we offer a great time for making new
friends in our Fellowship Hall.
Our children also have a chance to worship, make friends and learn about God:
During the school year, we offer a comprehensive, developmental, Bible-based Sunday School program for children aged three through Grade 12.
All classes meet at 11:00 AM. Nursery is available all
morning.
What you experience on Sunday morning is only a small picture of what our
church has to offer. We have activities Prayer Groups, mid-week Bible
Studies, and Family nights. We encourage you to touch on some of the ministry links on this website to
learn more about us.

Don't forget your donations of Food, or cash/check donations this Sunday! All donations will benefit the Hanson Food Pantry. If you are planning on writing a check, please make payable to The Cranberry Council of Churches.
Donations can only be delivered to the church on Sunday, February 5th.

Come and join us on Saturday, February 11th at 5:00 p.m. for Dinner followed by MOVIE NIGHT ! Dinner will include Pork Roast, and Dessert
This month our movie is "COURAGEOUS"
This movie was just in the theaters this past fall and has already been a blessing to those families who saw it. Movie goers found themselves laughing, crying, and cheering as they were challenged and inspired by everyday heroes. Filled with action-packed police drama, COURAGEOUS is the fourth film from Sherwood Pictures.

Special Meeting of the Church has been called at the request of The Board of Deacons and The Church Council at 10:30 on February 12, 2012, in the "Meetinghouse" to hear the names of those interested in becoming members of FCCHanson. Please be in prayer for those considering membership.

On Christmas Eve we will be holding two wonderful Worship Services
At 7 pm. you will hear a brief meditation and then watch as our children act out the Christmas Story. Our Contemporary Worship Team will be leading us in song.
At 11:00 p.m. be sure to come early and listen to 15 minutes of prelude music from our Senior Bell Choir followed by a beautiful Traditional Candle Light Worship Service.
COME LET US ADORE HIM TOGETHER!

Are you in need of prayer or do you know someone who is, or maybe you wish to thank and praise God for all His blessings! Whatever the reason, you are welcome to come and share Scripture and pray together with your church family! There is power in prayer, especially in collective prayer! Tuesdays from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Please come, even if you can't be there right on time..Come when you can or let us know what we can be praying for you.
Matthew 18:20- "For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

Our Sunday School program offers a rotation style of learning. Our children will be able to experience each lesson in a variety of formats including crafts, hands on lessons, story time and games.
All ages will meet at 11:00 in our Sanctuary and then after opening music will be escorted by their teachers to class.

Get your tickets now for a delicious 12 Ounce Steak or Half a Chicken Dinner with all the fixings. Dinner will be served from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m.
Tickets: $10.00 - Steak $8.00 Chicken
Shared meals are available for children
Tickets will be available at the church office and on Sunday. Deadline May 8th.
Our Master Gardner, Bob Smith, will have plants for sale before and after the dinner.
